What started out as a little stand at Linton Farmers' Market is now a thriving storefront serving up tasty treats and drinks!

Our Greene County CEO students got to go inside Sweet Tooth Café in Linton. Owner, Kim Collins, talked about opening in 2020 on the west side of the city. She says she quickly learned the importance of location when it comes to business. She said the café wasn't getting as much traffic as she wanted, so she moved her storefront to its current location in June of 2021 and has seen much success. Sweet Tooth Café is open for breakfast and lunch. Kim also offers catering in our community. She says she tries to make her menu different as not to compete with other eateries in the area. Kim talked about how she and her staff take customer service very seriously, adding that good and consistent customer service is imperative to repeat business. Kim also says operating a business requires patience, saying that it takes time to get established and build a customer base.

Kim shared this advice with students, "Don’t ever be afraid to change. Don't be afraid to say you failed, because failing is learning. It helps you figure out what you like and what you don't like, and then you can gravitate towards what you do like."

Thank you, Kim and staff, for a great business visit and delicious drinks!
