Greene County CEO students are learning the importance of making connections and building relationships from Jathan Wright, Executive Director of Autumn Trace of Greene County!

Jathan is a Linton native and says he always knew he wanted to stay in the community where he grew up. He previously served as Linton Clerk-Treasurer before taking the lead at Autumn Trace one year ago. Autumn Trace opened nearly 7 years ago across from Greene County General Hospital and is made up of 40 apartments that are home to residents age 55 and older. CEO students toured the building and learned about the business' pricing structure, staffing, budgeting, and marketing. Jathan also shared some of the successes and challenges of his role. He explained that having a presence across Greene County is crucial to maintaining Autumn Trace— that’s why he’s active in local organizations and serves as President of Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce. “Make sure that you’re talking to business leaders and giving your contact information to professionals in the community. Building relationships is huge. Be a part of your local chamber of commerce. Be a part of your church. You never know what making connections with others will do for you later in life."

Thank you, Jathan and Autumn Trace, for the great tour and delicious breakfast!
