I am thankful for all of the opportunities for networking and self-improvement that CEO has opened up for me. Because of this program, I have met like-minded peers and established connections to business owners through the community that a regular student wouldnt be able to have. I am also grateful for the skills, like proper handshakes and initiating conversations with adults and peers, that might seem small but have boosted my confidence in these situations exponentially. ... The thrill of the mentor match day has been memorable; that was a time when I was forced to leave my comfort zone to connect with these adults, and that has been a good thing for me. Another meaningful experience I had, involved presenting my class business idea, which made me need to prepare a slideshow and try and sell the idea to the class. Really, those moments where I needed to adapt have helped me grow, and I am very excited to see how I progress over the rest of the program.
