In CEO, I’m thankful for the networking, communication, learning, and personal growth opportunities. Without CEO, my eyes wouldn’t have been opened to all of the wonderful and crucial businesses around the Belleville area, pushing me out of my comfort zone and allowing me to explore my community. I’m thankful for every learning opportunity CEO has given me, and I feel more confident with each person I meet as I move forward in the future. One of the most meaningful experiences in Belleville CEO comes from our “Question of the Day.” Those moments have helped my communication skills as I learned about the importance of eye contact, a firm handshake, and a proper introduction. Additionally, the questions often make me think critically, not just about myself, but the world around me. These questions can help me learn about myself, my future, and the values I hold. - Savannah Hay, Session Two
