Who will you see at the McDonough CEO Trade Show on May 5? Meet Anna Dixon and her business Grandma’s Homemade Ice Cream!
Anna is a high school junior at Trinity Academy and her business is a creamery focused on building community and perfecting flavors for her customers to enjoy.
➡️ Anna’s why: I started this business because I love people and ice cream and so did my great-grandma. She gave homemade ice cream makers to almost everyone when they got married. Now, I get to combine her legacy with my love for community and ice cream!
➡️ CEO in three words, according to Anna: Challenging, Impactful, Worth it
➡️ Anna’s biggest dream: To someday own a physical shop where kids can hang out with friends after school, families can create memories, and become a place where people want to come spend time with others.
➡️ Anna’s mentor: Caitlin Harmon, United Community Bank
Come out to the trade show, Tuesday, May 5 from 5-7 p.m. at the Spoon River College Community Outreach Center and check out Grandma’s Homemade Ice Cream!
