About Me

Kate Hillard is a senior at Monticello High School who is interested in studying Psychology in college. She is extremely appreciative of the opportunity to be a part of the Sangamon Valley CEO Group. Her decision to apply to this group was influenced by hearing about the great alumni who shared their experiences with the program. The knowledge, growth, and hands-on experience she knows she’ll gain from this class are opportunities she could not find anywhere else. Only three weeks into the program, she has already gained confidence in her communication skills, visited several businesses, and learned valuable life lessons. Outside of SVCEO, Kate works at First State Bank and Trust as a drive-up teller, enjoys reading, going for walks, and spending time with friends and family. She has a passion for mental health advocacy and hopes to someday become a psychologist. Her ultimate goal is to open her own clinic. Kate knows that being in this group will provide her with a strong platform for her future!
