A visit to the YWCA of the Sauk Valley is always an eye-opening experience. The following group gave CEO West students a thorough overview of their work through an interactive presentation. For example, students were challenged to review a fictitious case study, with a list of 10+ barriers, and decide how to begin helping the client. We left with knowledge on immigration, case work, orders of protection, medical advocacy, domestic violence, crisis services, and so much more.
