When applications open, you’ll get a text with a direct link. Our blind review hides names and personal details, so selection is based on your potential and interest. The application is a simple 6-step process.

Submit Before The Application Window Closes
Late submissions won’t be considered. Submit a 150-word personal narrative on why you want to be a part of CEO, complete a character survey, provide the required character references (set by your program), and obtain parent/guardian approval.

l joined CEO because I wanted an inside scoop on how the business world works. Little did I know that I would also gain an invaluable amount of lessons and great experiences!

Kennedy Womack
Edwardsville CEO
Class of 2026
Kennedy Womack is a Senior at Edwardsville High School. She is a member of the Edwardsville CEO program as well as National Honor Society. Outside of academics, Kennedy spends most of her time juggling two different competitive dance teams which include, Studio E Dance Company and EHS Varsity Dance Team. She also spends time volunteering at the Madison County Child Advocacy Center. She enjoys exercising her leadership skills while being a captain of the EHS dance team and teaching young dancers at her studio. She hopes to continue her passion for dance by minoring in dance in college and accomplish her long-term entrepreneurial goals by majoring in business. Kennedy is excited for the opportunity to be in the 2026 CEO program and looks forward to learning lifelong skills she can use to expand her future career in business.

Malak Amer
Edwardsville CEO
Class of 2026
Malak Amer is a senior at Edwardsville High School. She enjoys participating in many extracurriculars and clubs including National Honor Society, Thespian Society, Drama Club, Ethics Bowl (philosophical discussion), The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Board, Chess Club, and Peer to Peer Tutoring. She also co-founded the Muslim Student Association (MSA) and is the co-president of Unity Club and vice president of the Science National Honor Society. Malak is very honored to be part of the Edwardsville CEO Program and is excited to meet many new people and have new experiences as well as form her own business. While Malak enjoys and values academics, she also sees the importance of going into the “real world”, meeting people, and forming valuable connections. During her free time, Malak enjoys a good game of chess followed by a peaceful reading session with rain sounds in the background. Malak speaks Arabic fluently and can communicate in Spanish. She has traveled to 5 countries and has had the privilege to ride over 30 planes. Malak plans to pursue a degree in engineering (most likely in the mechanical field) and then hopes to one day become a businesswoman and have the power to help people.

Sophia Noascono
Edwardsville CEO
Class of 2026
Sophia Noascono is a Senior at Edwardsville highschool. She keeps a very busy schedule and loves being involved in as much as she possibly can. Sophia cheers Friday night football games, works a part-time job at Source Juicery, assists in a local small business jewelry company, is her class secretary, and is a student athletic trainer for her school. Any time she has left is spent at the yoga studio as yoga is truly one of her greatest passions. She is currently working toward her RYT-200hr certification, which will allow her to teach within the year. Sophia also enjoys reading, thrift/antique shopping, old music, baking, and anything outdoorsy. It is extremely important to her that in her lifetime she sees as much of the world as possible and experience everything she can. After high school, Sophia hopes to attend the University of Kansas, majoring in athletic training, and minoring in clinical nutrition, all while teaching yoga. She aims to eventually work for a professional sports team where she can use her combined knowledge to aid in athlete recovery and wellness with the potential to one day open her own yoga studio. Sophia is extremely excited about the opportunities and lessons brought through the CEO program and would not imagine spending her senior year any other way!
